Sustainability in the Finca Melitón

Welcome to Finca Melitón.
Acting ecologically together is our guiding principle. Ecological action characterizes our everyday life, that means we are careful with resources and pay attention to possible consequences.
For example, we are battling plastic garbage. Let’s end the plastic flood in our seas together.
We have to act now and produce less waste. Through conscious choices we can make a big contribution, especially in places where many people come together on a regular basis.
So at Melitón, we started to stop using plastic straws, we use biodegradable bags and alternative take-away packaging. We do our utmost to reduce the dependency on disposable plastic and to recycle the remainder by properly separating our waste.
In addition, we use recycled paper products in almost all areas, whether menus, towel and kitchen paper or napkins – to protect the forests!
Also on the subject of cleaning agents. For the most part, we rely on biodegradable and environmentally friendly products, some of which are already organic … safe for humans, animals and the environment.
A careful and respectful use of resources is therefore a matter of course for us.
In the future, we want to stay at the forefront of sustainability, because we are convinced:
Only those who act sustainably can grow sustainably!
